    One Time Passwords (OTP) and (new!) Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) are good ways to protect your online accounts against identity theft. They are much more secure than passwords and easier to use. But not all websites support these methods. Furthermore it could have been a hassle to find out if a particular website supports it or not. This is why we setup a list of (hopefully) all websites and self-hosted software with support for OTP and U2F.

    The Crypto Stick has been established in 2008 as a hobby open source project. During this journey we attracted a lot of happy users and got positive feedback. We learned that developing a system which works is one thing; but shipping a stable and consumer-ready device is a totally different story. The development of the next version 2 (alias "Storage") took several years--even with one full time position on average. Now the system works stable and we are aiming on starting the production.
