New: NitroPad T480 and T480s

We are pleased to announce two new laptops. The NitroPad T480 and T480s are now available in our shop. They replace our popular but now outdated X230 and T430 models and differ from them mainly in their more modern 8th generation processor, up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM, and fast NVMe PCIe 3.0 x2. In addition, the T480 and T480s are significantly lighter and thinner and both feature a 14" IPS screen. They are based on popular and robust ThinkPad hardware, which we refurbish. The NitroPads T480 and T480s are good, affordable entry-level devices that are perfectly adequate for everyday office tasks such as Office, email, chat, and web browsing. They thus complete our portfolio, which includes the modern NitroPads V5x with even more powerful hardware. Like all our notebooks, they come with secure HEADS firmware to easily detect tampering using Measured Boot and a connected Nitrokey. We also deliver the laptops with either Ubuntu Linux or highly secure Qubes OS pre-installed.
