Three New NitroWall Models With Fast CPU, Wi-Fi, LTE
We want to build on the success of our previous NitroWall models and are now offering three new devices. These are equipped with a fast Intel CPU, 2.5 GBit Ethernet ports, integrated eMMC memory, and optional WiFi 6, LTE, and NVMe SSD. These NitroWalls are suitable as powerful firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), VPN gateways, and industrial PCs. The devices consist of a fanless, robust metal housing and are therefore suitable for both private use and industrial environments.
Of course, the devices use open source firmware, namely Dasharo Coreboot, which offers transparency, minimal attack surface, and high speed. The dangerous Intel Management Engine (ME) is disabled to make the system more robust against advanced attacks.
We offer NitroWalls with either OPNsense or OpenWRT. OPNsense meets all the requirements of a professional firewall and IPS, such as multi-WAN, hardware failover, routing protocols, web filters, and two-factor authentication. OpenWrt, on the other hand, is easier to use while offering a wide range of functions.
