Hey there, I think there are two architectures of great interest, you may want to support or think about supporting in the future at some juncture: One is Risc-V which I am sure you guessed. The other, is called microwatt, its a tiny OpenPOWER based processor, its on github, but I will send you a link if you want. Its being designed to be an ultra mega lightweight version of POWER9 which you probably already know is an open source version of powerpc. :) Feel free to reply, whenever.
