There are firmware updates available to solve various common issues: https://docs.nitrokey.com/nitrokey3/windows/firmware-update.html , further we tried hard to make it clear (see bold, "important" on the product page: https://shop.nitrokey.com/shop/product/nk3cn-nitrokey-3c-nfc-148) which functionalities will be available. Nevertheless, if the product is that far from what you expected, I understand the frustration, feel free to ask for a withdrawal at shop (at) nitrokey (dot) com.
