Our development of the OpenPGP Card application for the Nitrokey 3 is beginning to bear fruit. GnuPG successfully recognizes the Nitrokey 3 as an OpenPGP Card (development version of the firmware required). Key operations are not yet possible. Now we focus on the support of a first elliptic curve. We will report on further progress here in the coming weeks.
Good news: We are happy to announce that today we have started the beta phase for the Nitrokey 3 Mini! This is a very important step for us for many reasons and accordingly we want to tell you more about it.
The first near-series production of the Nitrokey 3A Mini went well as far as we know today. There are still some tests to be done, i.e. the beta test phase is starting now. Work is also underway on "pynitrokey", which will be used to install firmware updates on the Nitrokey 3A Mini.
We are happy to announce that a NextBox update with Nextcloud 23 was rolled out. To be exact it is currently 23.0.5 and therefore an important step which brings some changes for the future.
